2. Selection method


(1) Choosing the step ratio f/fn properly in order to achieve the best damping effect, the natural frequency of elastic support must satisfy the condition of f/fn > 2 in principle. The frequency ratio is larger than that of continuous trench, and the better the damping effect is. The f/fn value is usually between 2.5~5, and the damping effect can reach 80~95%.

The natural vibration frequency of the system rises and falls, and the frequency ratio is lower than f/fn.
